Happy Mid-Autumn Festival 🌙
May the moon’s clear radiance disperse doubts, may our consensus be as round and complete as mooncakes, and may our cooperation be as long-lasting as the fragrance of osmanthus.
Dear Readers,
Today marks the Mid-Autumn Festival, a traditional Chinese festival. As the ancient poem goes, “The night is bright and clear; all lands under heaven are pure.” On this serene autumn night, we admire the bright and full moon together. This full moon not only carries the Chinese aspirations of “family reunion and peace under heaven” but also illuminates the negotiation tables where countries interact and discuss cooperation with each other.
On the journey of promoting mutual understanding between China and the rest of the world, we have always held this belief: just as moonlight knows no boundaries and shines over all lands, differences between countries will eventually dissolve in consensus, and cooperation will surely deepen amid mutual trust. May the moon’s clear radiance disperse doubts, may our consensus be as round and complete as mooncakes, and may our cooperation be as long-lasting as the fragrance of osmanthus.
We sincerely wish every reader who follows ChinAffairs+ a peaceful and healthy Mid-Autumn Festival. We hope all your aspirations be realized, and all your endeavors take you far.
